How this works:
A third party monitors internet sites and provides a subscription service that assigns sites to categories. The Information Technology Department does not maintain a custom list of inappropriate sites.

In most circumstances individual sites are not blocked, rather an entire category will be blocked if websites in that category contain content contrary to Olivet's mission
Exceptions to this policy include specific sites deemed innapropriate by Olivet Administration

Occasionally, out of the millions of harmful pages that are filtered, some may be mistakenly identified as blocked content.
